Keeping your accountant informed

It is important to keep your accountant up to date with any changes in your circumstances e.g. change in industry (Including leaving your industry) or changes to your personal details and contact details. This is so that we can keep our records up to date and inform HMRC of any relevant changes.

If you have left your industry and no longer require a tax return we will need to inform HMRC of this in order to cancel your tax return. If the tax return is not cancelled and then not submitted, you may receive a fine from HMRC. If HMRC are not informed of a change in your address you could also be missing vital correspondence from them. To avoid such instances, please inform us of any changes in your circumstances.

Please get in contact if you wish to update your details with us or if you have any queries -
